New Fragrance Lines

With Christmas just around the corner, the Skinflint Workshop has been a busy place these last few weeks.

The beautiful looking and smelling Tayberry & Teakwood Soap is now a permanent line in the product range. It has proved so popular and has sold out completely within weeks.

A new batch is curing in the Skinflint workshop right now and it will be ready to use on the 16th January. I will label and have it ready for sale before Christmas. A little note will come with it to indicate the curing time it needs.

Two new Soy Melt fragrances are available. The luscious Very Vanilla and the breezy Sea Moss are great new additions to the Home Fragrance range. Along with these, there's the cute little Soy Candles available in four fragrances - Bananarama, Mimosa Breeze, Dragon's Blood and Fresh Cut Roses. At only $9.00, they make a great small gift or addition to a gift basket.

More Soy Melt Fragrances

Skinflint Soy Melts are so popular that I'm introducing new fragrances. Here is a list of all the fabulous fragrances. The wax burners is a large one and uses two tea lights. They're only $10 on special right now.

The new soy melts are in bold:

• Coconut & Lime - zesty top notes of bergamot, lime and grapefruit with sweet coconut on a background of sheer vanilla and clean musk
• Fig & Melon - a rich, ripe late season fig with warm autumn melon notes
• Frangipani -  a sweet full bodied floral with green accents
• Ginger Lillies - a floral scent with the bite of fresh ginger
• Lemon Verbena - light and fresh lemony scent
• Parisienne Pear -(the same as French Pear) a delicious fresh pear fragrance with a sweet green apple, peachy-citrus top note; a caramelised fruity middle note; and a soft earthy musky base note with a hint of cinnamon
• Patchouli & Musk - amber, patchouli, sandalwood, and vetiver create the base for mid notes of geranium and violet, with light top notes of mandarin and lemon zest
• Rose Garden - light and floral, just like a garden full of roses
• Secret Garden - just like a cottage garden, with a hint of heather & hyacinth
• Tayberry & Teakwood - fruity, yet with a warm wood fragrance. Hard to describe, but a definite favourite
• Wild Berries - tangy and fruity, just like fresh wild berries

New Scent

I'm enjoying the latest soy wax melt scent burning in my office right now - Tayberry & Teakwood. This scent is quite complex, fruity, sweet and spicy. The official description from the supplier is, "A beautiful and complex combination of bamboo and teakwood enhanced with tayberries, blackberries, mulberries, cloudberries, and peaches, with a hint of red clover and sweetgrass".

 These melts are excellent for the quick removal of cooking odours or staleness from the home. They can burn for up to three hours with no smoke or residue. Each melt can be remelted many times before they lose their scent. Once a melt has lost most of it's scent, or you're simply tired of the same fragrance, pop it out and place a new one in the top of the burner.

Complementing Skinflint Soy Melts are ceramic oil burners. Just place a wax melt in the removable top and a tea light candle in the base and enjoy the delicious fragrance throughout your home.
